| Rick Baxter was born and raised in the Boston area. He began playing professionally at the age of thirteen. In the 1970's Rick toured with regionally successful Rock 'n' Roll bands. Fast forward to the present. Rick performs throughout New England, playin' the blues and co-writing songs with Mighty Sam McClain. He is a sought after blues guitar teacher. He plays and teaches other instruments as well. Rick owns and operates Casablanca Recording. His first love, though, is rockin' out in live performance with his high energy band, Ricky B & The BlueZone. His musical influences are eclectic and range from Muddy Waters and Eric Clapton to Led Zeppelin, John Coltrane, and all the great Bluesmen and women of the past and present. |
